Quality control in LED chip production is a closed-loop management system covering the entire manufacturing process, with clear control points at every stage from raw material intake to finished product shipment. The specific process is as follows: 
1. Supply Chain Source Control (First Line of Defense)    
Establish a strict supplier qualification mechanism, prioritizing raw material suppliers certified under ISO9001 and with well-developed quality traceability systems. Conduct dynamic evaluations of key materials such as LED chips, leadframes, silver paste, and gold wires.  
During incoming inspection, samples are checked against standards to verify material models, dimensions, and appearance, ensuring no scratches or contamination and clear polarity markings. For critical components like chips and leadframes, sample testing of optoelectronic parameters is conducted to confirm compliance with design specifications.
2. Key Production Process Node Control  
1. Die Bonding Station  
Focus on controlling adhesive volume and bonding force: silver paste height should be 1/3 to 1/2 of the chip height, while white paste should be 1/3 to 2/3; silver paste bonding force must be ≥100g, and for large-sized chips, white paste bonding force must be ≥150g, ensuring secure chip attachment. 
2. Wire Bonding Station  
Strictly control wire loop height: for 3030 specifications, maintain the loop height between 125–145 µm; for standard sizes such as 2835, keep it within 140–180 µm; and for high/low cup support specifications, set it at 180–250 µm. Additionally, ensure pull and push forces meet requirements: gold wire pull strength must exceed 6g, and gold ball push force should be ≥35g, guaranteeing secure bonding without wire detachment. 
3. Dispensing Station  
Monitor the appearance of dispensed adhesive, inspect for defects such as bubbles, contaminants, and uneven dispensing. Prepared adhesive must be used within 30 minutes. After dispensing, components must be baked within the specified time frame. Silicone and silicone resin materials should be cured separately to prevent issues like incomplete curing or surface wrinkling. 
4. Cutting/Spectra Sorting Station  
Control cutting quality to prevent misalignment, burrs, and PCB breakage; the spectrometer must be calibrated with standard samples prior to production, with strict error tolerances: voltage ±1%, luminous flux ±1%, wavelength ±0.5nm, ensuring consistent parameters across batches of LED chips. 
3. Pre-shipment Reliability Verification and Full Inspection  
After sorting, white light products must be visually compared against customer-approved reference samples for each bin. Only when the visual similarity reaches over 95% are they considered qualified.  

For critical risk items, dedicated reliability tests are required. For example, to address silver paste delamination issues, samples are randomly selected according to standards and subjected to 1,000 hours of high-temperature and high-humidity aging, followed by cross-sectional analysis and push-pull force testing. Products must achieve a silver paste coverage rate of ≥95% to pass.  

Final products undergo random sampling inspections for key parameters such as voltage, color temperature, color rendering index, and luminous flux, ensuring all specifications meet design and order requirements. Only after confirming no surface defects can the products be shipped.
